About Kalu Waterfall
Kalu waterfall, It is located on a hill located in Malshej Ghat of Maharashtra, this waterfall is referred to for its beauty as God Valley. It is the highest waterfall in the Malshej region, with a maximum the height over 1200 feet. It falls in five segments from top to the bottom. It is not clearly visible from the top. Drone cameras are a great way to view the splendor of the five segments.
Kalu falls is a result of Harishchandragad mountains and runs across Khireshwar village. It flows into the Konkan region, which is located on to the Deccan Plateau. A second waterfall can be found nearby, called Mahuli waterfall (according to locals). Kalu falls and Mahuli Waterfall are two of the waterfalls that make up Kalu River. Kalu River.
Things to Carry
- Luggage Packed in Big Good Sack, All Luggage Wrap Properly.
- Good Trekking Shoes.
- Extra pair of clothes and socks.
- Dry Snacks.
- Electral/Glucon - D energizer drinks.
- 2-liter water bottle. (1 liter each)
- A Sweater/ Warm wear/ Rainwear. Wear comfortable clothing during trek (full sleeves Shirt T-Shirt, Avoid Jeans).
- Head Torch / Hand Torch Compulsory.
- Cap / Hat, goggles, sunscreen, Odomos.
- Camera, Binocular (Optional).
- Identity proof (must).
- Toiletries (Napkin, Face Wash, Tissue, Toilet paper, Sanitizer).
- Slippers (At the end of day or trek so you feel relax).
- Personal Medicine if any. *Please Come Prepared

Day 1: Depart from Mumbai/Pune in Private Vehicle as per the
group size.
- • Pickup point – Meet at Ch. Shivajinagar Near Lokmangal Maharashtra Bank at 10:30 PM.
- • Multiple on route pickup point available.
- •Route will be Ch. Shivajinagar – Aundh – Jagtap Dairy – Kokane Chowk – Nashik Phata – Bhosari – Junnar - Base Village.
Route & Pickup Point for Pune
- • Meet at Dadar TT Circle at 10:00PM
- • Route – Dadar TT Circle – Ghatkopar Amar Mahal – Thane Teen Hat Naka – Kalyan Durgadi Chowk/ Ch. ShivajiMaharaj Chowk - Base Village.
Route & Pickup Point for Mumbai
Day 2: - Reach Base Village & Start Trek.
- • 04:00AM – Reach Base Village & rest for a while in bus.
- • Freshen up, Breakfast and Start Trek.
- • 06:30AM – Start trek.
- • 08:30AM – Reach the base of waterfall and enjoy.
- • 10:00AM – Start return trek to base village.
- • 12:30PM – Freshen up & Lunch.
- • 02:00PM – Start return journey to Pune/Mumbai.
- • 08:00PM – Reach Pune & Mumbai with full of memories. (+/- 1 hr.)
